Vancouver Mural Festival
The Vancouver Mural Festival returns today until August 14th with a spectacular 11-day celebration featuring daily block parties, mural tours and over 30 new murals across the city. Discover the creative side of Vancouver’s great outdoors with an incredible line-up of 150+ visual and performing artists over 11 days of art and experiences. Beautiful new murals will bring walls to life in neighbourhoods across Vancouver, while an extensive schedule of events will connect and bring communities together. Vancouver Mural Festival will host daily mural tours, public talks, daily live performances at the all-new City Centre Festival Hub, plus a spectacular all-ages festival closing street party in downtown Vancouver. Lynn Valley Village – Big Games Night
Big Games Night in Lynn Valley Village is the perfect event to attend with your family as well. This includes an evening of fun with giant tumbling towers, bean bag toss, and more! Click here to view which dates Games Night will be on!
Polygon Outside: Kids First
If you’re looking for a family friendly activity, I highly recommend attending the Kids First event. Activities will include art-making, sun, and fun every Sunday this month from 11-3pm. Click here to learn more.
Ambleside Music Festival
Ambleside Music Festival is making a return this month! The event takes place in West Vancouver’s Ambleside Park — complete with mountain and seaside views — Aug. 12 to 14. Headliners have been announced, and weekend passes and VIP packages are now on sale. Click here for more information!
Twilight Tuesdays at Science World
The return of Twilight Tuesdays at Science World means patrons can enjoy extended hours every Tuesday until 8 pm under the dome. Plus you’ll receive discounted admission if you arrive after 5 pm! I highly recommend checking out their popular attraction T. rex: The Ultimate Predator, the new Sacred Journey exhibit – this is truly a fun experience! Click here for more information.
