Father’s Day Gift Guide

Father’s Day is around the corner – if you haven’t gotten your gifts prepared, here’s a guide to help!

Does your dad have a sweet tooth? Choose from Dad’s Stash or Father’s Day Classics Gift Box from Purdys Chocolatier. Also highly recommended is the BC company’s vegan chocolate collection — the “mylk” is made from rice powder, but even the pickiest palates can’t tell the difference.

If your dad is a donut lover, there’s also an assortment of donut shops around North Vancouver for you to explore. I recently bought a box of donuts from 49th Parallel – Lucky’s in Lower Lonsdale and I can’t stress how incredible they were. Other options to visit are Harmony, Cream Pony, and Nickels Bakery to name a few.

Should your dad be big into the BBQ scene, I suggest looking into this BBQ Bundle from Montreal brand Smoke Show. The bundle includes a jalapeño spice blend and jalapeño BBQ sauce — for perfectly seasoning meat and veggies — along with a wooden scraper to keep the barbecue itself clean.

If you’re looking for more package options, I recommend heading to Indigo or checking out their Father’s Day guideline here. There are options ranging from books, glassware, coffee makers, and so much more! Canadian Tire has also curated a great selection of items perfect for dad from tools, BBQ’s, outdoor activity supplies, and more. Click here to take a look.

For those of you wanting to take your fathers out for dinner or may be cooking at home for them this weekend, there are a ton of delicious options to choose from. If you plan on dining out, Carlino Restaurant will be serving Father’s Day brunch with brunch boards, breakfast sandwich & Insalata di Farro. If you’d prefer to head out later in the evening, H2 Kitchen & Bar has a Father’s Day Sunday Supper Series happening on June 19th. Click here to view their special menu.

Thinking of hosting and making (or purchasing) a meal to remember? Potluck Hawker Eatery has created the ultimate Father’s Day take-home feast this year, you have to check it out!

I hope these suggestions help when it comes to your Father’s Day gift selections. Wishing you a wonderful weekend with your loved ones!
