Chocolate cake, chocolate mouse, whipped cream, snickers, and then repeat the layers. Oh, and the cake may or may not be soaked in Kahlua. I love this recipe not only for the flavour but for the amazing presentation – how fun do these look?!

All you need to do here is take large pretzel twists and pretzel rods, cover them in melted dark and white chocolate, and decorate to make them “spooky”. It really doesn’t get much easier than these pretzels. For those of you with youngsters, this is a great activity to get them in on! Click here for the recipe.

Next up we have Brown Butter Pumpkin Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Homemade pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, made with browned butter, pumpkin butter, oatmeal, pumpkin spice, and plenty of chocolate. Plus one special ingredient that really makes these stand out…espresso. These cookies will surely be a hit, I’ll be making them early Saturday morning and can’t wait!

Last but not least, I recommend trying this smoky harvest apple cider margarita – I promise your guests will love it!

Smoky mezcal (or tequila) mixed with a splash of orange liquor, spiced apple cider, a touch of citrusy lime, and sweet maple. Finish this smoky margarita off with fresh rosemary, apple slices, and a smoking cinnamon stick for that extra special touch.
