November Recipe Guide

Are you on the hunt for new recipes to try this month? I highly recommend these selections from Half-Baked Harvest. They’re simple and incredibly delicious!

Let’s start off with this shredded Kale Bacon Salad with Maple Candied Walnuts. Personally, I think this is a Fall must-try, ideal for either lunch or dinner.

Shredded kale, arugula, nutty manchego cheese, and sweet dried cranberries, all tossed with a simple cider vinaigrette that’s sweet and tangy. The spicy candied walnuts and pepitas add a nice crunch making every bite of this salad delicious. I like to make this recipe for lunch or dinner, it’s light, simple, and always a hit.

If you’re looking for something a bit more filling, this easy ginger chicken and spinach ramen is incredible. Best for nights when you need a cozy and healthy dinner.

Pull out your crockpot and let’s get cooking! Using healthy ingredients, this ramen is absolutely mouth watering. It’s creamy, spicy, filled with veggies, chicken, and ramen noodles. Click here for the recipe!

While we’re on the crockpot train, I also highly recommend testing out this herb butter chicken and wild rice dish.

Wild rice is cooked together with vegetables, chicken, and herbs. Serve each plate of chicken and wild rice with a drizzle of brown garlic sage butter. This slow-cooked chicken dinner is a hearty, but healthy dinner. Click here for the recipe.

Next we have slow cooker Coq au Vin with parmesan mashed potatoes, ideal for the cold nights we’ve been having which leave you wanted a warm and filling meal.

Using simple, wholesome ingredients that you may already have on hand, this dish is rich and delightfully flavourful.

For dessert, I have selected a mouth-watering sweet and salty healthier caramel apple recipe.

I’ll be giving these a go over the weekend and I can’t wait to enjoy them after dinner! For this recipe, crisp autumn apples are dipped into homemade salted maple “caramel”. Each caramel apple is dipped or drizzled with chocolate and finished off with a pinch of flaky sea salt. Zero processed sugars! A yummy, wholesome twist on a classic fall treat.

I hope you enjoy these recipes over the next few weeks!
