Pandemic Precautions and Preparedness

“It’s important that all of us in the real estate profession do our part to help prevent the further spread of illness in our communities,” Ashley Smith, REBGV president said. “This is one step we can and should all take immediately as good corporate citizens.”

We have implemented the following in the interest of keeping ourselves and our clients, family and friends healthy and safe.

1-Not hold open houses
2-Ask clients not to view or show properties if they, or anyone they live with, has recently travelled abroad or are unwell.
3-Sanitize their hands before and after a showing and encourage them to avoid touching doorknobs and other surfaces in the property
4-Not travelling with others to showings
5-Sanitizing our phones and computers throughout the day
6-Working from home. Our brokerage closed our office last week.
7-Practicing social distancing and using technology to keep in touch and check in with those we love and care about.
8-Not panic buying. In the interest of making sure everyone has what they need, we are buying only what we need for our families.
9-Washing our hands a lot, sanitizing our hands and not touching our faces.

These are just a few of the precautions we are taking to flatten the curve. Please click here to read our brokerage’s official statement on COVID-19. Click here to read Vancouver Coastal Health’s info page on Coronavirus.

We hope you and your family continue to be healthy and safe. If you or anyone you know has been affected by COVID-19, we wish you or them a speedy and uneventful recovery. We will continue to think of everyone we know and send positive and healthy thoughts everyone’s way. Please continue to spread love and kindness. Now more than ever, we all need it.

As always, we are available to field questions. We are proud to be your go-to for all things real estate and home. We welcome your call and look forward to hearing from you and keeping in touch during this trying time.
