This one of my favourite spots to head to on a Friday evening – there’s an abundance of live music, food, and beverages for you to enjoy in the heart of Lower Lonsdale’s Shipyards.

The Shipyards is located just east of the SeaBus and the Lonsdale Quay at the foot of Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver – you won’t miss it. As Shipyards Live explains, “Shipyards Live has been working diligently with local health officials to bring live entertainment back to the The Shipyards in 2022, one of the most stunning event settings in British Columbia. Shipyards Live will once again feature live music on The Stage at Shipbuilders Square, the Patio pop-up beverage garden, food trucks, and a splash park for kids of all ages every Friday (3pm-10pm) & Canada Day (12pm-10pm). On hand will be a diverse mix of artists and entertainment that will appeal to a wide range of audiences. Shipyards Live brings a fun environment for the whole family to enjoy every weekend this summer at The Shipyards, in the heart of Lonsdale Quay.”

Personally, one of my favourite parts about Shipyards Live is the patio pop-up beer garden by Stanley Park Brewing. They have everything from ciders, seltzers and wine available each weekend. The Patio is set directly in front of The Shipyards Stage so you won’t miss a moment of the live entertainment while you enjoy your beverage. P.S. They have happy hour on from 3-5pm every Friday – $1 off all of their beers!

For the foodies out there, there is also an assortment of food carts and trucks available for you to explore. To learn more about these fantastic food options, click here.
