If you plan on cooking for family or friends this weekend, you have likely already purchased your turkey. Outside of the turkey, there are many delicious appetizer and side dish recipes to explore to really tie the night together. I would highly recommend preparing the appetizers ahead of time then baking or warming before serving, this way you can enjoy the evening with your loved ones and won’t be stuck cooking the entire time!

Here are some incredible appetizer recipes to explore by Half-Baked Harvest:

Crispy Prosciutto Baked Brie Bites with Honey Pears + Walnuts

The Big Holiday Hummus Board with Roasted Root vegetable Chips

Goat Cheese Stuffed Phyllo Swirls with Pomegranate Honey + Pistachios

When it comes to sides / sauces here are absolutely mouth-watering recipes to explore:

Now, for those of you choosing to skip the hours of cooking this year, here are some great spots to find holiday offerings in Vancouver:

Oven-roasted turkey, kale Rustico, pumpkin cheesecake, and more will be available at Cardero’s on Sunday, October 9th and Monday, October 10th from 4pm onwards. You can view the full Thanksgiving menu here.

Enjoy a spread of autumn delights as you take in the fall foliage at Stanley Park at the iconic Teahouse. For $33 per person, you can enjoy the main course of oven-roasted turkey with traditional stuffing, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, and maple-glazed yams. And guests can end the night with a slice of chai-spiced pumpkin pie with maple meringue, chai sugar, and caramel for just $12.A three-course Thanksgiving dinner is available at The Sandbar on Granville Island, where you can also enjoy some killer views. Feast on butternut squash soup, fall salad, turkey with honey carrots and garlic mashed potatoes ($33), and for the grand finale – pumpkin pot de crème. Is your mouth watering yet?!

The Westin Bayshore’s H Tasting Lounge dinner package includes a Fraser Valley whole roasted natural turkey, dried apricot and cranberry stuffing, housemade cranberry sauce, creamy buttermilk Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, roasted root vegetables, brussels sprouts, baked sourdough rolls with sweet butter, and baked pumpkin pie, traditionally spiced and served with chantilly cream on the side.
