Tulip Festival

Chilliwack Tulip Festival is back and it’s an absolute must-see!

This is the largest Tulip festival in BC with millions of Tulip bulbs blooming each year. Guests can roam among more than 20 acres of 25-plus Tulip varieties and over 16 types of Double Daffodils!

On a sunny day, the fields are amazing and feature some 30 different varieties of tulips and over 9 million flowers in total. As Vancouver’s Best Places explains, “new as of a couple of years ago are fields of hyacinths and peony-like double daffodils which add extra colour. The additional flowers also allow the festival to open a couple of weeks earlier than in previous years. The Chilliwack Tulip Festival is put on by the people behind the same community’s tremendously popular Chilliwack Sunflower Festival which takes place at the end of the summer. Both festivals take place at the same farm, at 41310 Yale Road, and both are highly recommended.”

If you’re like me and you love flowers, I would highly suggest making time to visit – you can grab your tickets here! This activity can also be the perfect Mother’s Day gift or family fun event with the little ones. Not only will you be able to see the stunning florals up close, but any photos you take there will be an incredible and colourful memory to look back on!
