While we’re only at the beginning of February, getting your ducks in a row sooner rather than later if you are celebrating Valentine’s / Galentine’s Day this year is a must. Keep reading to get inspired and start planning now!

If so, I’d highly recommend exploring Vancouver spots such as Beaucoup Bakery, Buttermere Patiseerie (they have fantastic Valentine’s Day cakes), Shangri-La Hotel Vancouver (this is my go-to spot for Smash Cakes), or Kafka’s Coffee (great for Valentine’s Day sweets boxes).
Should you’d prefer to celebrate with more of a ‘night out’, whether this be with your partner or friends, I’d recommend heading to one of the mouth watering restaurants in the Lower Lonsdale neighbourhood, then taking a seat by the fire pits at the Shipyards!

With views of Downtown Vancouver, this is a fabulous spot to end your night.
Another great option to explore this Valentine’s / Galentine’s Day (or the weekend before as Valentine’s Day falls on Monday this year), is heading to Spa Utopia for a bit of pampering, then ending your night at Seaside Hotel and taking advantage of their Romantic Retreat Package.
