Although the bohemian aesthetic dates back to the 19th century, I think we can all agree this trend is never going out of style. Boho decor is achieved by incorporating carefree layers of textures, patterns and colors. Unlike other decor trends, there are no rules when it comes to creating a bohemian room. You can make it as clean or as bold as you wish.

One way to easily achieve a bohemian look is to stick to warm, earthy tones and bring in various textures such as macrame, leather, pampas feathers, natural wood, and rattan elements. Etsy is a great place to shop for Boho items, I’ve also personally found a few great pieces at HomeSense!

If you want to go for a cleaner, more minimalist look, I’d recommend adding in lush plants! Not only do they have the benefit of purifying the air, but the look is simple and elegant.

One of my favourite places to shop for bedding is Urban Outfitters. They also have a great selection of other funky, boho home decor items.
