Easter Weekend

Easter weekend is very quickly approaching! Keep reading to find out what you can do around town this weekend to celebrate.

For those of you with little ones, Easter is a very fun occasion filled with laughter and of course an abundance of chocolates & goodies. Before the sweets galore begins, I’d recommend starting the day with brunch at the Pinnacle Hotel – their Easter brunch buffet is back this year!

The Pinnacle Ballroom will be welcoming guests for a festive Easter Brunch Buffet on Sunday, April 17, 2022 from11am-2:30pm. Seating times are 11:00am, 11:30am, 12:00pm and 12:30pm.

After brunch, it’s time to hit the road and get to the good part. Head over to Taves Family Farms and take a hay ride down to their Bunny Trail to embark on an egg hunt at! Visit the farm animals in the petting barn and Farmville, enjoy the peddle karts, jumping pillows, and play structures. Find an egg-stra special egg in the orchard and you could even win a family day pass to the Applebarn for this fall!

Make sure to secure tickets ahead of time.

If you’re wanting to stay a little more local, I suggest heading to Stanley Park after brunch. The Stanley Park Easter Train will be on this year and includes an Easter-themed miniature train ride in the park.

Kids can also meet the Easter Bunny and explore a maze on-site. The train will be running from April 15th to 18th and costs $7 per person over the age of 2. Click here to grab your tickets!

Should you be celebrating Easter at home this year, I urge you to visit Chez Christophe and grab a few goodies to take home. From Easter Smash-Ables, Easter Showpiece Eggs, Chocolate Bunny Lollipops, Bunny Butt Carrot Cake, Hot Cross Croiss’, and special Easter-themed Travel Cakes, Chez Christophe has you fully covered.

Quantities are limited however, so reserving your order now is a good move.

For a more classic Easter chocolate experience, head to Thomas Haas in North Vancouver. From Easter chicks to a wide variety of classic chocolate eggs, this is a great go-to local spot to get you Easter ready.

I hope you enjoy these Easter options, wishing you a wonderful and safe weekend ahead.
