Mother’s Day Gift Guide

On the hunt for the perfect Mother’s Day gift? Keep reading for inspiration from local businesses!

To get started, let’s dive into the world of florals! If your mom is big on flowers, I highly recommend looking through the incredible selection available at Posy. Some of my favourite selections from their Mother’s Day bouquets are the Baby Born Flowers (great for moms who love pastels and peonies), Sweet Confetti (ideal if you’re looking for pops of colour), and the Beautiful Luxury Botanical (fantastic for rose lovers). Make sure to place your orders as soon as possible to secure delivery for Mother’s Day!
Next up we have Graze Company, one of my favourite local businesses! Graze has perfectly curated and presented Graze boxes for anyone wanting to celebrate their Queen and look like a champ while doing it. And, they deliver! Ordering has already started and they run out so act fast. This is a great way to elevate your Mother’s Day celebrations at home – make sure to look into their drool worthy box filled with all of the brunch favourites including: Belgian waffles, mini croissants, homemade banana bread, yogurt parfaits, artisan preserve, selection of cheeses, cotto ham, honeycomb, smoked salmon lox, capers and cream cheese, fresh fruit, nuts & edible floral. Each brunch box comes complete with a 375ml bottle of Prosecco and OJ for Mimosas! Feeds 2-4. They also have additional “girlie” boards and cheese knife sets in pink and turquoise agate for sale! While we’re on the charcuterie board train, Steelwood designs is another great local business to explore. Alexis has an amazing assortment of gorgeous charcuterie boards that will complement any kitchen. Each one comes from a sustainably sourced, reclaimed piece of antique wood that has been lovingly hand-carved and refinished to be the ultimate statement piece at your next gathering. Click here to see! StyleWell also has beautiful textured blankets, pillows, mugs, boards for home that would delight any mom. Lisa, is super helpful so you can be in and out in no time.
Another great option for Mother’s Day is gifting anything fashion related. Get Dressed has beautiful spring styles and the staff is so wonderful, they can help you be in and out in 10 minutes and you can pick up some Prosecco next door for Mother’s Day mimosas! Llewelyn in the Village also has great selection and is the latest women’s clothier addition to Edgemont. Both are definitely worth checking out.
Last but not least, let’s discuss treats for those of us with moms that have a sweet tooth! I absolutely love gifting from Rocky Mountain Chocolate, my mom and I will happily sit and explore their chocolates with a fresh cup of tea in hand. If you’d like an array of chocolates for mom to explore, I suggest purchasing their Mother’s Day 17 piece bliss collection featuring berries, nuts, and artisan chocolates curated by their Master Chocolatier. I hope these local selections make your Mother’s Day gifting process a lot easier! Wishing you a wonderful weekend with your loved ones.
